LUTZE DRIVEFLEX® - The Most Flexible Drive Cable in Its Class

Not all drive cables are cut from the same cloth…LUTZE DRIVEFLEX® VFD cables are designed to meet the unique electrical challenges in VFD and Servo applications. All DRIVEFLEX® VFD cable use a special formulation of cross linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE), providing excellent electrical characteristics while maintaining the utmost flexibility for the drive cable.

Advantages include UL listed type “Flexible VFD Servo Cable, Flexible Motor Supply Cable,” superior electrical values for VFD applications (for example low capacitance and high impedance), and flexibility for easy routing and installation.

LUTZE DRIVEFLEX® cables are safer and more efficient compared with traditions PVC/Nylon power tray cables or THHN wires in conduit. DRIVEFLEX® XLPE insulation has very low capacitance, high impedance and high voltage breakthrough resistance. XLPE insulation is the superior choice for VFD applications with pulse width modulation (PWM) to cope with high voltage spikes and power distortions from the VFD output. Shielded VFD cables ca help to mitigate electrical noise, thus decreasing shaft voltage and motor bearing failures.
